Al Jackson Personal Trainer

Al Jackson Personal TrainerAl started playing badminton, tennis and squash from 11. By the age of 16 he had competed nationally, representing his home county Yorkshire. By then he had also started kickboxing where he trained to compete and gain his license by the age of 20. At that point he moved to London to pursue his teen hobby of musical theatre. He trained at the highly accredited Millennium Dance for three years by the end of which he had gained a Professional Diploma in performing arts and appeared many times on stage and TV dancing, acting and singing.

Along side this performing career, Al dedicated himself to weight training to complement and strengthen his dancing and partner work. It was this that inspired him to develop the health and fitness side of his training and at 24 he qualified as a level 3 Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist with Premier Training International .

Since then he has been practicing in NW3, training a range of ages for different goals with success. Al is also a running coach for corporate running clubs Look Good Naked, training advertising company M+C Saatchi and Omnicom. Al's clientele include celebrities in the area, training for West End shows, charity events, TV and recently including a celebrity 6 week challenge for Men's Health Magazine with Richard Bacon, producing some great results.

Anna Jackson Personal TrainerAnna started ballet at the age of 5. Progressing through the Royal Academy of Dance grades quickly, she auditioned and was accepted to dance at London Junior Ballet at 7. It was here she started training in Pilates and Body Control to strengthen for, and prevent injury from, dancing. At 10 she successfully auditioned to perform with The Bolshoi Ballet in their summer season at the London Colosseum, performing with the company in the ballets that required children. At 11 she was accepted to continue her training at the prestigious Elmhurst School for Dance, a full time vocational school for 5 years where she trained and performed Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Flamenco, Irish, Pas de Deux and continued with Pilates. At 16 she moved to London Studio Centre to continue specializing in Classical Ballet. In her third year there joined their ballet company 'Images of Dance' with whom she danced principle roles in their UK tour, working with leading choreographers.
Anna started working at Springhealth, while training alongside with Stott Pilates as a Matwork Instructor.

She began to teach group and individual Pilates classes in NW3 as injury or postural rehabilitation, pre/post natal training or simply a complementary technique to weights and cardio. Her combination of Stott Pilates, Body Control and her dancing experience creating a safe method for noticeable results.

She has also recently trained with YMCA fit as a level 3 Personal Trainer, learning the most up to date fitness knowledge and techniques to extend the range of options for her clients' effective training.

Many of their clients train as a couple or individually and find their goals more achievable with that extra motivation and even sometimes gentle competition.

Celebrity couple Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead have trained with Al individually for separate goals and found that common interest inspired them both to train harder - Lee for his role in 'Wicked!' and Denise for her post-baby Charity trek to the summit of Machu Pichu.
